먼지들: 정윤석과의 대화

지난 주, “흩어지는 전술 HIT and RUN” 웹사이트들 통해  정윤석 작가의 새 작업  먼지들이 공개되었습니다.

그의 지난 작업들을 아시는 분이라면, 이번 작업은 예전의 것들과는 무척 많이 다르다는 것을 느끼셨을 것입니다.

“선명한 목적의식을 보여주기 보다는 불투명한 이야기를 드러내는, 일종의 정답이 없는 작업.”

먼지들을 본 어느 분은 이 작업이 “신비롭다 mysterious”고 말해주기도 했습니다.

정윤석 작가는 왜 이런 작업을 하게 되었을까요?

그는 도대체 무슨 생각을 하고 있는 것일까요?

그래서 오는 금요일 (29일) 저녁 7시에 정윤석 작가와 만나 이야기를 나누는 자리를 마련했습니다.

정윤석의 작업이 궁금하신 분들, 그리고 그의 작업에 대한 생각을 나누고 싶으신 분들을 위한 자리입니다.

Dusts: A Meeting with Yoon-suk Jung

Last week, Yoon-suk Jung’s new work,  Dusts was released through “흩어지는 전술 HIT and RUN” website.

If you have seen his previous works, you might feel that Dusts is very much different from his previous works.

Jung’s new work does not show any clear goal or logic. Rather, it is constructed out of unclear stories,

and there’s no answer in it.

Someone has even said about the work that it is “mysterious”.

What made Jung to make such work? What is the artist thinking?

So we are having a meeting with Yoon-suk Jung this Friday (July 29), on 7 p.m.

It is for those who are curious about Jung’s works, and those who want to share their thoughts with the artist.

The location for the meeting will be some place near Gyeongbokgung Station,

but it will be confirmed after we have exact number of participants.
